About Me
Jayla Roxx is a Los Angeles entertainment journalist, television personality and producer, and the founder and CEO of WestCar Media. Her work spans editorial coverage, television, audio and original entertainment development, with experience both in front of and behind the camera.
She is the founder and editor of New Hollywood Magazine, where she leads coverage of television, film, streaming, creators and entertainment culture. Her interviews and features explore the people and creative decisions behind the work, drawing on preparation, direct conversation and her production background.
Her television background includes production work on The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula and an appearance on Undercover Boss. She created and hosted Reality Redefined, an interview series distributed through iHeartRadio and YouTube. Her experience in front of and behind the camera informs her conversations with artists, filmmakers and creative teams.
Through WestCar Media, Jayla brings together publishing, editorial storytelling, production and interactive entertainment. She leads the company’s creative work across WestCar Studios, WestCar Interactive and New Hollywood Magazine, supporting original projects and collaborations with brands, authors and creators. She is an active member of the Television Academy.
